MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING

A modern retelling of Shakespeare’s comedy about two pairs of lovers with a different approach to romance. The plot is largely unchanged from Shakespeare’s original play and uses the original text. Filmed in black and white, the images add a nuanced interpretation to the text. Whedon uses one main location (his own house), and much of it takes place in echoing high- end interiors, perfect for a story where everyone is constantly eavesdropping on everyone else.
