HAPPY END

Happy End is an exhibition of contorted souls and an opera of dysfunction, revisiting the classic pursuits of Haneke’s earlier work – a vision conceived by an auteur in his prime. Preoccupied with the connective tissue of the affluent Laurent family, the narrative gradually illumines the glacial and highly damaged relationships between all the family members: loveless people who seek death, revenge and money in a joyless world. Happy End is an inspired nightmare of sociopathic tendencies.
